Find the right Biltmore Estate parking area
Biltmore’s visitor parking options include lots with a walk to the house and lots with shuttle service. Parking is included in admission, so there is no separate parking charge for estate visitors.
Park-and-walk Lots A and B
Lots A and B are 5–10 minutes on foot from Biltmore House. Once parked, follow the signs toward the house and allow for the walk as you plan your arrival.
Park-and-ride Lots C and E
Lots C and E offer round-trip shuttle service to Biltmore House, and both have ADA parking. Accessible parking for the house with complimentary accessible shuttle transportation is available in Lot E; follow signs to the Park & Ride Building. Accessible parking for the Walled Garden is next to the Conservatory.
RVs may park in Lot C. If you are driving an RV or need special assistance, contact the first available parking host.
For a taxi or rideshare, use the designated drop-off and pick-up lane by the Park & Ride Building at 79 Old Shiloh Rd, Asheville, NC 28803. That service is for arrival and departure, not travel between estate locations.

Allow time for the approach to Biltmore House
Your ticket’s entry time is for Biltmore House, not the estate entrance. You can arrive earlier to visit the gardens, grounds, shops, and restaurants, but plan the drive between estate locations and parking before your reserved house entry. If you’re also planning time in the city, a one-day Asheville itinerary can help shape the rest of your route.
Biltmore recommends reaching the Admissions Gate at least 30 minutes before your first activity to allow time for parking and security screening. It also advises allowing at least 45 minutes to travel between estate locations and park before a reserved house entry time. Arriving late for that entry time may mean losing your reservation.
Walking between estate areas is not recommended: the roads have no sidewalks, and the distances between locations make walking impractical. If visiting more than one area, use the estate’s transportation arrangements rather than planning to walk between them.
Entry reservations for Biltmore House are required every day, including for Annual Passholders. You reserve an entry time when buying a ticket; Biltmore Estate tickets and visit planning are worth sorting out before you plan your arrival.
How do you get from Asheville to Biltmore Estate?

Biltmore Estate is about a 28-minute drive from this Asheville motel. From Whispering Pines Motel, the estate is also about 117 minutes on foot, though Biltmore advises against walking between its own estate areas because its roads lack sidewalks.
Once you reach the estate entrance, follow the signs and the instructions for your parking lot. The entrance address and route directions matter: entering a different address into GPS may take you to the wrong entrance.
