Choose a Biltmore Estate ticket

Prices and ticket terms can change. Biltmore recommends buying House admission online in advance, which it says guarantees entry on your preferred date and saves $10 per ticket.

Check what your admission includes
Every ticket type includes access to Antler Hill Village & Winery, 8,000 acres of gardens and grounds, a complimentary wine tasting, complimentary parking and visit-date flexibility.
The main distinction is whether your ticket includes entry to Biltmore House. The Grounds ticket does not; the House ticket choices include a daytime visit, while the Luminere option also adds the outdoor evening experience and pre-dusk first-floor access. Some options include free next-day grounds access, so check the specific ticket details when booking.
Biltmore recommends at least one full day at the estate; two full days allow a more complete visit. The estate covers 8,000 acres, so decide which included experiences matter most before you plan the day.

Plan arrival and parking
Arrive at the Admissions Gate at least 30 minutes before your first activity to allow time for parking and security screening. If you have House admission, the time on your ticket is your Biltmore House entry time, not a general arrival time; Biltmore encourages arriving early to explore the estate.
Parking is included with admission. Lots A and B are an 8- to 10-minute walk from Biltmore House and the gardens. Biltmore’s Biltmore Estate parking and arrival guide covers the practical details of reaching the entrance and parking area.
For GPS, use 1 Lodge St, Asheville, NC 28803, the address Biltmore gives to help prevent navigation to an incorrect entrance. From I-40 East, take exit 50 (US Highway 25), turn left at the traffic light after exiting, stay in the left lane and follow signs to the entrance.
From I-40 West, take exit 50B (US Highway 25 North), stay in the left lane after exiting and follow the entrance signs.
Rideshare drop-off and pick-up use the designated lane by the Park & Ride Building at 79 Old Shiloh Rd, Asheville, NC 28803. That service is for arriving and departing, not for getting between estate locations.

Allow time for the estate grounds
Plan your estate itinerary around the distances between its main areas rather than assuming you can walk from one to another. Biltmore says estate roads have no sidewalks and does not recommend walking between separate areas; it recommends arriving in a vehicle to explore the estate.
The Reception & Ticketing Sales Center is 3 miles from Biltmore House, and Biltmore House is 5 miles from Antler Hill Village & Winery. Biltmore Connect provides transportation between those locations. It costs $15 per person per day, and children ages 16 and younger ride free.
A complimentary Garden Shuttle runs between Biltmore House and the Conservatory in the Walled Garden from April through December. If you plan to include both, factor the shuttle’s seasonal operating pattern into your visit.
Biltmore is open every day, but hours vary daily, and House hours also vary based on demand. Choose your House entry time when purchasing admission and follow the time printed on your ticket; the operating hours for your visit depend on the date you select.
How do you get from Asheville to Biltmore Estate?
Driving is the most direct way to get between the estate’s spread-out areas, and Biltmore recommends arriving in a vehicle. Use the GPS address 1 Lodge St, Asheville, NC 28803, and follow the appropriate I-40 directions if you are approaching by interstate.
Biltmore does not provide transportation between Asheville Regional Airport and the estate and recommends reserving an airport rental vehicle in advance. The estate’s own transportation options serve locations within Biltmore, rather than replacing airport transport.
If you are combining the estate with time in the city, planning the order of stops can help.
From Whispering Pines Motel, Biltmore Estate is about a 28-minute drive, and Whispering Pines Motel offers a place to stay for your estate visit.
